Stitchery with some of my Fabric Collections

after receiving my fabric collections from
Quilting Treasures my mom and i have been collaborating
on a few sewing projects.

my mom is a sewing extraordinaire
she has a wealth of knowledge about not only pattern construction but
fabric itself and she is a meticulous sewer.
(everything she makes is done with the utmost care)

we have worked on many projects before but,
these were really special to create because we were using fabrics that feature my illustrations.
(the only one missing was my grandmother... she would of loved to be a part of this)

our biggest project was the quilt featuring my very first
fabric collection ... Snow Much Fun.
to see this one-of-a-kind quilt in it's entirety please visit my etsy shop.
(that's right it is up for sale.)

this is a beautiful quilt with little snowman surprises on the front
and a cozy flannel snowman toss on the back.
wish i had this when my kids were little.
i definitely would be snuggled up with them reading a book.

i have to admit this one is really, really hard for me to part with.
i just love it so much!

we also used the flannel from the Snow Much Fun Collection
to make these cozy pillow cases.
(you can also find these in my etsy shop)

this sweet little baby blanket features the yellow animal toss
from my "Snuggle Buddy" Collection on one side.
and on the flannel side my mom added
a charming little detail ... a turtle appliqué!
(yes, you can also find this one-of-a-kind piece on my etsy shop)

lastly, a pair of flannel PJ's using two different
patterns from my Snow Much Fun Collection.
these were sewn especially for me by mom!
i plan to wear them on
our cold winter nights here in Canada.
(lucky me!)

i just wanted to send a special thank you to my talented mom for all
her hard work and expertise to help me make the
designs that are in my head come to life so beautifully.
i am so grateful to be able to create together!

  1. These are absolutely wonderful! I would not be able to give them away. The person who receives them will be very very lucky! The sewing is perfection!
